Dave Sperandio is the founder of Vocal Mastering and has served as senior mastering engineer since 2011, helping hundreds of producers and artists around the world make their music sing. His belief is that mastering is fundamentally about removing the barriers between an artist’s musical vision and the listener’s ability to experience it.

Vocal Mastering has close relationships with many of the top mixers and producers, and we’re available on-demand during mastering projects to consult with them, if needed. This might mean asking the mixer to send a new mix, or a question about a part of a song, a fade-out, a glitch, etc. This can save a lot of time, and help make sure everything sounds good the first time the client hears it. Vocal Mastering works directly with producers and artists alike to help them deliver a premaster (mix) that maximizes the potential realization of their musical vision during the mastering process.

Put another way: Vocal Mastering helps give you the best possible chance for your music to sound the way you want it to to the listener – no matter how they’re listening.

Part of this is delivering consistent, musically pleasing, award-winning results. But our experience mastering thousands of diverse projects also affords us the opportunity to listen firsthand to a vast swath of the music that is released each year.
